Author Participation

Interested in participating as a festival author at the next Get Lit! Festival?

The Get Lit! Festival is pleased to feature authors who live and write in the greater Northwest area. If you are a published poet, fiction, or nonfiction author who resides in Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, northern California, or southwestern Canada and have experience running writing workshops and/or making formal presentations, please submit the following to Danielle Ringwald, the program coordinator, at dringwald@ewu.edu:

• contact information, including your website
• a list of your publications according to genre (include material published in magazines or literary journals)
• any prizes or awards you have received
• your teaching experience
• workshop ideas

By providing this basic information, you alert us to your interest in the Get Lit! Festival. Each year, we choose our festival authors with the intention of raising community awareness of and support for the extensive literary talent and resources in the region.
