This Program is Comprised of Three Required Courses:

  • Introduction to Public Relations Theory, JRNM 451
  • Advanced Public Relations, JRNM 452
  • Public Relations Writing, JRNM 453 or an elective

Classes are Conveniently Located in Downtown Spokane

Elective course options allow you to tailor the certificate program to your area of emphasis.
Credit Courses: Standard University tuition rates apply.

Qualifiers and Certificate Requirements

It is strongly recommended that persons intending to enroll in the Public Relations certificate program have completed at least two years of college or possess a strong writing background. The journalism classes are offered in a sequence that allows you to build the skills needed for transition into higher level courses.
